What is Maple Story?
Maple Story is an Korean/Japanese online game in beta-testing. Their sign-ups are closed, but you can find out more about them at

Where did the drawing start?
I was thinking of starting an art commission shop to get more mesos (currency used in the game Maple Story), but I lack the samples to start the thread at the Knights of Maple forum. Also, I am new to the equipment used by the characters in the game and their poses while holding these equipment, so I started a thread looking for models, and Ydoc, empty, Lahire, Saryn and Calarius volunteered.
Why am I making a journal entry out of this?
I don't know. I thought I should, since these characters are not mine. Plus there will be more of them in my gallery in the future.
